The Kennedy Farm Massachusetts barn was built in early 1820. It is fondly called the Massachusetts barn because, at that time, Maine was part of the state of Massachusetts. The adjacent red barn and farmhouse were built in 1829, by that time Maine was a state. Today, the Kennedy Farm annually hosts the Kingfield POPS concerts the last weekend in July.
